In 2002, the office has been established in order to handle acquisitions for Bavarian Television/Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) and affiliate channels such as Phoenix, Ki.Ka and arte.

Located at the BR broadcasting site in Munich-Freimann, the office is run by Iris Henninger and Kai Finke.
